Story of 9crafted My name is Mike Mazzanti. I started doing leathercraft in early 2019 as a hobby and officially started my business in January of 2020. I make things one at a time with the intention of bringing you something you can't find in a big box store. That "something" is that I do everything with my whole heart. I started making Christmas gifts a few short years ago and decided that leather was a more enduring medium that I could pursue. After buying a few tools and taking a couple of classes, I was off to the races. The next year, I registered my business as 9crafted Leather Company. I am a professional gravedigger and the number 9 is my call sign on the radio at work, so 9crafted is to say that "9 crafted this". As someone who has spent most of my life outdoors, be it hunting, fishing, working or combat, I understand the importance of using good gear. Good gear can literally save your life. No matter if its a belt to hold up your pants or a handbag for your grandma, I put my entire heart and soul into everything I make, so that your goods will perform as needed. I am a real person, the same as you. Big box stores are generally designed around profits and shareholders. I am the only person who runs my business and I wear many hats. With that in mind, I do my best to appreciate you as someone who is willing to invest in something unique and handmade.
